Excellent news.
The Kyiv Post reports that the presentation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to the Cabinet of Ministers is already being prepared, and the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) reports. Consideration of the submission is planned in the coming weeks.
“The main reason is the systematic unfriendly actions of Israel against Ukraine and the de facto pro-Russian position in the international arena after Russia’s full-scale invasion,” explains a Kyiv Post source in the National Security and Defense Council. In addition, Ukraine initiates the exclusion of Israel from the meetings of the Ramstein format, where Ukraine, together with its allies, is negotiating the supply of weapons. The Ukrainian government is concerned that Israeli representatives at the meeting are passing information to Russia:
“The information received during the meetings is used by Israel in its own interests. And most importantly, there is a real danger that this information is likely to fall into the hands of the aggressor state,” the article says.

The Ukraine-Israel rift is widening, despite Zelensky's earlier shameless attempts at using his Jewishness, a trait he had apparently never previously noticed, to draw Israel not only to help Ukraine, but into the wider war itself. Still, this reaction is more likely due Israel's immigration policy changes (previously was absurdly allowing large numbers of Ukrainians into the country without rhyme or reason - this can discussed elsewhere), than Israel's "pro Russian stance" which is quite an exaggeration.
The current Israeli government under Bibi Netanyahu simply has not replaced its own flag
with the duo of the Ukrainian and rainbow flags
as flags as many other western states have done. This nowadays counts as a "pro Russian stance". For my taste, Israel has not stayed neutral enough (free trade with either side and no particular help to either side, unless if mutually asked... ie if it can help in any way to bring peace as in aiding in negotiations), which is what would be a minimum logical and appropriate response from Israel, if not actually supporting Russia.
This war between Slavic brothers, with complexities, deep historic roots and global geopolitical consequences (spurred on by Biden and the west) is not Israel's business. To support Ukraine is strategically and morally unsound for Israel.
Now, visa free entry to Ukraine would not be of any major consequence to Israelis normally. The reason they are now bringing in this "leverage" to try to force Israel once again to aid Ukraine further (we discussed this in more detail during the Pentagon leak:)
Regarding the Pentagon Leaked Documents
Regarding the Pentagon leak and the documents we have seen. Out of those that have been circulated in the public domain, want to discuss the most important and/or interesting, which are a small minority. First a note about the leak itself. In general, the leak seems genuine to me. Cannot be sure, things of this nature can always be intentional misinformati…
is because travel to Ukraine is very important for many observant Jews. Great historic leaders of the community are buried within Ukraine's current borders (of course was not the case during their lifetimes as that country did not exist), Rabbis the likes and stature of Nachman of Breslov at Uman to the Baal Tanya the Alter Rebbe (Reb Shneur Zalman of Liadi) at Haditch. Many thousands of Jews from Israel and around the world visit these holy sites every year. The western media loves to speak of the "weaponization" of non military sounding things when speaking about their political opponents. Russia for example "weaponizes food" they tell us.
Here we have Ukraine weaponizing faith and religion. Given Ukrainians participation and collaboration in the holocaust, which led to the annihilation of the over millennia old Jewish community there (little left now but graves), the threat of keeping Jews from visiting the resting places of their fathers (which for Ukraine causes no harm, and no effect other than greatly improve tourism and help the economy as I have witnessed personally), is especially telling (telling, though not surprising coming from Zelensky’s regime).
If they carry out this weak ploy to try to force our nation into their losing cause, I firstly certainly hope that it will fail to nudge our Prime Minister Netanyahu, and I suppose we will have to wait for its most simple solution, different tourism policy under Russian jurisdiction. Poltava especially, is not that far from the front already.
