October 4 2026 Update to Attempted Sept-11 Terrorist Attack Article:
This is exactly what I warned about. Israeli media obsessing over how to blame this on the Netanyahu, so that he cannot react to the attack itself (which is obviously a positive for the coming elections). Note the headlines:
For those that are not familiar with internal politics, the Israeli state is in an internal conflict which makes the Trump administrations' war against the US's deep state pale in comparison.
The entrenched Israeli bureaucracy, and especially the elite leadership (of nearly every ministry and state organ), is dominated by the leftist elite of the country. The democratic process on the other hand, delivered a majority to what in Israel at least can pass as a right wing coalition (pretty leftist from my perspective).
From that moment, the war has been on (and it even is largely to blame for the events of October 7th 2023 as we have discussed elsewhere). The leftists protest endlessly against Bibi's "dictatorial" behavior and his "cancelling of democracy". They apparently believe democracy is when things they like happen, and dictatorship is when things they don't like happen (or even someone dares wish that they happen).
In any event, the powers of the PM in Israel, and even of the coalition in general, are surprisingly limited to anyone not familiar with them. The PM has been blocked from even simple administrative tasks like naming new heads of departments and ministries. The entrenched state bureaucracy, together with the leftist courts, have completely paralyzed any executive effort. Even laws the Knesset passes with a majority are easily sidelined by the courts, without a constitution to limit their (or anyone else's) power at all.
Now, ultimately the power lies with the Israeli citizen who votes, and I do not subscribe to the endless complaining by the "right" in Israel that makes it appear as though all Israelis are "with us" (on the right), and a couple of old men with black robes simply have enslaved us. That reality would be even sadder than the actual one. The reality is that Israel is full of leftists (especially when you include the large Arab vote which gives the Jewish left an automatic near 20% boost), and so the voter has not delivered neither a right enough majority nor a large enough majority to the Knesset, in order to overcome these issues. The power ultimately rests in the hands of the voters. But day-to-day, it rests with the deep state, as Trumpistas would rightly call it.
It is in this reality, where the Prime Minister is under constant indictment for beyond absurdities, and cannot chose tea or coffee in the morning without the Attorney General (a leading figure of the deep state in Israel who ironically, despite being literally titled "Legal Advisor" is a political enemy of the Prime Minister and the main obstacle to the implementation of his policies) approving it, that we are told that the giant, powerful, entrenched, immune, sacrosanct (lest we ruin democracy!) bureaucracy of woke communists that make up the organs of state are free of any responsibility of having done their job.
It is the Prime Minister, who is suddenly in times of fuckups, called the "Head" and the "Boss" repeatedly, who is to blame. After all, it is the Prime Minister (or at worse one of his Likud Ministers), that singlehandedly checks all inbound and outbound flight manifests. It is the none other than the PM that clears all passengers and crew as safe. But he is never the Head, and never the Boss, on a daily basis lest he rule, and we lose democracy.
The people that lead and work in the security services, civil aviation authority, the transportation ministry and others? They are there to collect benefits and remain untouched and unblemished, once again lest we lose our democracy.
The Prime Minister obviously should have checked all incoming pilots and copilots himself.
Just look at the main headline, and 3 out of 4 sub headlines. Only one is about anything at all related with the attacker and the ongoing investigation. All the rest meant to bring Bibi down.
And they say Putin controls his national media. His level of control pales in comparison to the willingly and freely granted control the left has over western media.
As I wrote as soon as I became aware of the attack a few days ago, this event could be as it well should be, the catalyst to take us across the finish line against one or more of our foes. It should not instead be used to bicker about stupidities to their benefit. But here we are.
As I explained in that early attack-day post, if you want to have peace agreements with Arab countries (which the leftists say is the point of life, after first being gay and secondly not being racists of course), then Arab Muslims will be the incoming pilots (not to mention passengers). That entails obvious dangers, and Israel cannot do the hiring for Arab airlines. Even more so, there are plenty of Israelis who will fly only with El-Al due to security concerns. They won’t fly SWISS Airlines for example, let alone an Arab Airline! Jews flying Arab airlines to and from Arab countries obviously are accepting a higher level of risk, which our enemies profess and attest to on a daily basis.

Admittedly there is the peculiarity of the copilot being only an Omani citizen. It means that he cannot pass customs and enter Israel. So was he (and others like him) simply remaining in the plane while it turns around? Just staying in the airport but never passing immigration and "entering Israel"?
There are reports that part of the agreements with foreign airlines is that pilots must hold passports from countries Israel has normalized relations with (ie not Oman). Could be but I doubt it; that is actually more a domestic law, and so again really comes into play when an Omani pilot would try to enter Israel. Who knows what was actually being done in those cases on the ground.
Weather he was entering or not, the airlines do send a full manifest including pilots and their passport information. So either Israel was letting such pilots remain onboard (or within the airport but not pass immigration) and then fly out again, or the airline lied about who is onboard. Those are basically the two choices.
The first of course, means an Israeli breech of its own rules. And most likely not one that was ever cleared at a political level, and one that was a reality on the ground due to demand (airlines in recent years consistently decry pilot shortages), decided by the untouchable civil servants. But it hardly matters... all you needed is the terrorist to have Emirati citizenship (reportedly he was born there in any event) and the whole conversation goes away.
Limiting Muslim passports is not a good way to eradicate Muslim terrorism. They come with many passports. Israel suffers countless terrorist attacks on a yearly basis from Muslims with Israeli passports for heavens sake!
This whole passport business is an important "loophole" as Bibi called it, to probe and correct but it is not the main issue, as the media is cynically making it, to the benefit our foes and to out detriment.
I await the important information (the links), which should come out of the ongoing investigation. We shall see.
